As The World Turns: Ep. #11423

Jennifer tells Bryant she won't deny herself any longer, and pulls him into a hungry kiss. But she's too upset to carry on, and stuns Bryant with the news that her mother and his father are having an affair! Bryant blames himself for Jen's misery. Tom informs them that Gabriel Frank has been dead for two years! Bryant and Jennifer decide to find Frank and Ruby themselves. Meanwhile, Gabriel Frank, very much alive, makes a delivery to Java Underground and is thrilled to discover his mark is Lucinda Walsh's grandson! He promises Ruby they will score - and score big. Craig confronts Carly, demanding to know if she has sold him out to score points with Jack. Jack calls to warn Carly to get out of Craig's suite, but Craig snatches the phone away. Jack takes off to save Carly. Craig corners Carly, but Jack pulls the fire alarm, and Craig and Carly are forced into the lobby. While Craig is distracted, Jack cautions Carly that Craig knows about the wire. Carly rips the wire off and is whisked off by Craig again. He tears open her shirt but finds no wire. Mei Lin arrives to escort Carly to the old mill for the exchange. Meanwhile, Jack shows up at Craig's, desperate to find Carly, but she's gone. Julia comes to the stakeout van looking for Jack and Hal lets her have it for interfering in their investigation. Cindy is waiting at the old mill with someone who checks the microchips - and discovers they're phonies! Cindy is furious, declares the deal is off, and takes off with the money. A stunned Carly and Mei Lin contemplate their frightening - and penniless - futures.
