Henry goes to Holden and begs him to drop the videotape issue, and alludes that Isaac Jenkins might be able to help him. Tom finds a towel-clad Emily at Chris' place and they have it out. Tom questions Emily's relationship with Chris, but she assures him it's a harmless fling. They're both stunned when Chris announces that he's in love with Emily. Tom leaves and Chris sticks by his declaration. Emily admits she's not in love with Chris. She's sorry and would like them to go back to being just friends, but that's impossible for Chris. At Al's Diner, Penny and Bob spot Nancy sharing shakes at the counter with Joe, who Nancy calls her "hang out buddy." Tom arrives and tells them about Chris and Emily. Bob, Nancy and Penny advise Tom to stay out of it. Holden, tipped off by Rose, confronts Lily about her New Year's Eve rendezvous with Simon. Rose and Emma make lunch together, and Lily is saddened by their apparent closeness. Sierra warns Lily that everyday she chases Simon, she's closer to losing everything she cherishes in life. Meanwhile, Holden is comforted by Rose, who convinces him to join Emma, Joe, Faith and her for lunch. Later, Henry makes a call to an unknown party and reports it's all starting to unravel.
