Barbara tells Julia that she and Hal are breaking up. Julia pleads with Barbara not to rush into the divorce and Barbara wonders if this is really about Julia's marriage. Julia confesses she's afraid that Jack will decide to leave her for Carly one day. Barbara wonders if this marriage is really making Julia happy. Craig preps Carly for the microchip sale and assures her of Jake and Molly's safety. Hal presses Jack to use Carly to investigate Craig, but he vehemently refuses. Craig shows up and insists Jack and Hal are wasting their time trying to find black market items which do not even exist. Jack blurts out that he's seen them. Craig is unfazed and it's obvious he is ready to make his move. Craig leaves and Hal orders Jack to get in touch with Carly. Cindy Harrison, an old foe from Bay City, drops in to see Jake. Cindy claims she has come to pay her respects for Vicky and Jake blows his top. Cindy attempts to make amends with Jake, who is about to throw her out when Carly arrives. Carly and Cindy meet and bond over their late husbands and Carly's earrings. When alone, Cindy approves the merchandise. But Vicky's ghost appears and spills coffee on Cindy, who drops the earrings. Molly recounts all of Cindy's past crimes, and when a horrified Cindy leaves, Jake follows her. Carly tells Molly that since she's lost Jack, she's risking everything. Later, Jake and Molly are alone again and the lights go out.
