As The World Turns: Ep. #11362

Molly is still disturbed by the strange phone calls. Jake suggests that they switch apartments, for her safety and in the hopes he will trap whoever is doing this. Lucinda calls Jake with the news that a government official has visited her with a tape of the black box recording from Vicky's plane. Molly accompanies Jake to Lucinda's so Jake can listen to Vicky's last moment. Jake is crushed when the official reveals that both Vicky and the pilot knew their fate before the plane crashed. Jake asks for a moment alone to listen to the tape, but as Molly leaves, she is stunned to hear the same voice as her "Beautiful Dreamer" phone calls! The government officer says this is impossible, since no one else has access to the tape. Jake, distraught, promises a shaken Molly that he'll find out who's behind the phone calls. Jake is unsettled when Molly suggests that Vicky's spirit is responsible for the strange occurrences. To Holden's dismay, Rose drops by the Snyder barn and announces she's staying in Oakdale. She wants people to get to know her for herself. Rose thanks Emma for treating her so well. Emma can't help but be touched, but Holden wants no part of Rose. Alone, Holden confides in Emma that he's afraid that Lily will chose Simon. Lily meets Simon and tells him that she's made a decision about their future. She admits how much she cares for him, but has decided to go back to Holden. Simon challenges Lily to try to deny the passion they have for one another. Simon declares that he's not giving up on her - and he's not leaving Oakdale. Later, Rose runs into Simon at a bar and is surprised to hear that Lily is going back to Holden. Simon scoffs when Rose tells him that she expects payback for the stolen diamond. Meanwhile, Lily tracks Holden down at the barn. He jumps down from the loft, and they face each other as they had so many years ago.
