Rose is stunned when Joe D'Angelo arrives for a visit. At first, Rose is resentful and doesn't want to speak to him, but Lucinda convinces Rose to hear him out. Joe asserts that Rose was always his little girl, but Rose resented his giving her a heritage that wasn't her own. Rose declares she's never going back to Jersey. Joe gives her a family photograph and leaves. Lucinda asks Joe not to leave town. Later, she finds Rose in tears. Chris is surprised when Emily toasts David's death. Tom walks in on Chris and Emily's impromptu party. Tom trashes Emily, but Chris accuses him of being jealous of Emily's attention to his career. Emily asks Chris if he wants out of The Intruder and he replies that he doesn't. Later, Emily is thrilled to receive an invite to David's funeral and plans to wear red to "mourn." Hal blasts Barbara for limiting Carly's visitation without checking with Hal first. Barbara is sick of Hal jumping to condemn her but not facing up to his own mistakes with Jennifer. Adam warns a returning Jennifer she's about to enter a warzone. Jennifer interrupts the argument and announces that she intends to continue to see Bryant, regardless of what they say. Barbara blames Hal for Jennifer's new attitude and plans to visit Craig. Carly can't believe that Craig has only been nice to her so she would get involved in his criminal activities. She gives him a firm and final no, but he refuses to accept her answer. He presses, but Carly won't agree to do his dirty work. Katie overhears their argument and offers herself for the job, but Craig refuses. Realizing that she's irreplaceable because she's Lowe's widow, Carly demands a cut of the action! Craig agrees to a lucrative deal, but Carly warns that she'll sell him out in a second if any harm comes to her or Parker.
