Julia confides in Barbara that David threatened to make sure her connection to Lowe was exposed if anything happened to him. Julia fears she'll lose Jack, but Lisa warns Julia not to do anything rash. Craig and Hal square off. Carly tries to calm Hal down, but he lets her have it for her living situation. Hal demands to take Parker home, but Carly resists. Craig vows to fight Hal in court if he denies Carly the right to see Parker. A furious Hal storms out. Carly thanks Craig for defending her, but she balks when he reveals that in exchange he wants her help in delivering the microchips. Adam informs Barbara about Hal and Jennifer's argument. Lisa and Barbara discuss Julia's predicament and vow to make Carly pay for her past crimes. Hal returns without Parker and blames Barbara for Carly's keeping Parker in close proximity to Craig Montgomery. Jennifer tells Bryant she finally realizes that she's not responsible for the accident or the state of her parents' marriage. She declares that she wants to be with him - no matter what her parents say. They kiss. Julia pleads with Jack not to pursue the Stenbeck investigation. She panics when Stenbeck's attorney shows up with an envelope. She's relieved when it's not the incriminating photograph, but both she and Jack are unsettled by the contents - an invite to David's funeral. Jack tries to distract Julia with lovemaking. Julia decides there's a way to hold onto Jack no matter what - she throws out her birth control pills!
