Emily realizes that Chris is feeling neglected since she has been so focused on Jake. Emily claims she doesn't have any romantic inclination towards Jake, but wants to find out more about Vicky to be a better friend to him. Chris won't let Emily pump him for information. Later, Emily successfully gets some details about Vicky from Cass. She privately vows to emulate Jake's dead wife. Jake is surprised to discover Cass and Donna in his apartment. Donna and Jake reconnect and she admits she feels guilty bringing Vicky to New York, which led to Vicky's death. Molly arrives as Jake is comforting Donna. She is warm and sympathetic to Donna and leaves to let them visit, in spite of her plans with Jake. He's grateful for her support. Jake admits he cares for Molly but no one can take Vicky's place. Donna confesses she felt Vicky's presence the other night and still has trouble accepting Vicky is gone. Donna suggests that Jake is ready to move on and should take off his wedding ring. Later, Jake does and he's pleased when Molly returns. Jake and Molly share a kiss as Vicky's snow globe falls off the mantle and shatters. Julia claims she wants a small wedding, but Jack realizes she's concerned about what he went through with Carly. He promises her the wedding of her dreams. Parker is finally released from the hospital and Hal invites Carly to come home with them. Barbara shares her concern that Carly will further disrupt their lives with Lisa. They are stunned when Hal arrives home with Parker - and Carly! Lisa tears into Carly and Barbara is infuriated when Hal rushes to her defense. Barbara and Hal are arguing when Jack and Julia arrive and announce their happy news - which Carly overhears!
