As The World Turns: Ep. #11309

Jake tries to reach Molly all night, but he only gets her answering machine. Molly, meanwhile, ignores the phone and tearfully looks at photos of her and David in happier times. Now on friendlier terms, Emily asks Jake to accompany her to the telethon, but he refuses. Jake goes to Molly's and she admits she's upset about exposing her sordid past to him. Jake promises he's still attracted to her. They make a date at Mabel's and share their first kiss. "Lily" emcees the telethon at WOAK. Bob talks about how the new unit will help Andy. Abigail overhears Jen and Bryant sweet-talking on the phone and flees the station. Emily arrives and is greeted with accolades due to Jake's article about the Stenbeck sting operation in The Times. Katie is annoyed that "Lily" is so popular and places an anonymous call asking "Lily" to sing Holden their song. "Lily" covers by singing a new song for Holden and averts Katie's trap. A frustrated Katie slips the Rose D'Angelo flyer into Lucinda's bag. Lily and Simon try to get the radio to work, but the battery is dead. Simon is able to create a battery and get the transmitter to work for a moment. There's newfound hope when they hear a plane overhead! But it's short-lived - Celia has landed and pulls a gun out on Lily!
