Jack attempts to call the number on Carly's fax, but it's disconnected. Julia confides in Lisa about the fax from Carly. Lisa encourages Julia to confront Jack or she can forget about having a future with him. Jack shows Julia the fax and admits he's been investigating Carly's whereabouts, but he swears his curiosity doesn't change the fact that he only loves Julia. They kiss. Later, Julia discovers another fax from Carly has come in. She pockets it and doesn't tell Jack about it. After consulting with a spinal injury specialist, John tells Andy the best course of action is conservative, non-surgical treatment. Andy informs John he's already decided to have Ben operate. John tries to talk Andy out of it, but Andy is adamant about going ahead with the operation. Denise admits to Ben that she never told Andy she wanted their marriage annulled. Ben is upset that Denise lied to him and to Andy and has landed them in this predicament. Ben refuses to place blame and assures Denise that after Andy's surgery they can be together. John overhears and accuses them of pushing Andy into the surgery for their own benefit. Ben insists surgery is the best alternative for Andy's treatment. Andy walks in on the argument and orders John to back off. Ben tells Denise he's tired of sparing Andy's feelings; once he's better, all bets are off. Lily convinces Celia not to shoot Simon. Instead, they revive Simon and Celia leads her captives out. The three end up on a plane flying over the Atlantic Ocean. Celia gives Simon and Lily parachutes and forces them to jump from the plane!
