As The World Turns: Ep. #11269

Emily tells Chris she's planning an exposé cover story on Lisa. Chris convinces her to hold off, hoping to convince Lisa to apologize to Emily for embarrassing Emily at the memorial service. But when Chris makes his case to Lisa, she refuses to apologize. Emily insists on running the story and Chris threatens to quit. Hal suggests that Jennifer and Abigail invite Bryant to dinner. Abigail assumes it's because Jen is trying to get Abigail and Bryant together. Abigail tracks Bryant down at Yo's, where the bartender has warned he will call the cops if he sees Abigail hustling pool again. Abigail beats some tough guys in pool and Bryant offers the bartender a bribe to "look the other way." At the Munson house, Jen is increasingly uncomfortable while Abigail flirts with Bryant. Jen tells Bryant she thinks Abby is falling for him, but he assures her he'll handle it. Denise opts to remain behind to collect Andy's photographs as the others go to Kim and Bob's. Alone with Ben, Denise tells him she will stay with Andy tonight, but will push for an annulment so she can be with Ben. Kim notices their closeness. Andy reunites with Hope, telling her that the thought of her kept him alive. Kim, Bob and John discuss the possibility that Andy could be paralyzed permanently, but Andy remains positive. Later, John realizes the full extent of Andy's helplessness as he puts his son to bed. In church, Ben and Denise pray, feeling guilty and anguished. Later, Kim tells Denise she knows Denise loves Ben, but Denise owes it to Andy to stand by him in this condition. Andy asks Denise to stay with him before he goes to sleep as Ben remains in the church, alone.
