Molly pays a nostalgic visit to WOAK and Kim isn't pleased to see her. Molly tells Kim that she shouldn't give up on Andy, but she doesn't need to fight her family in court to prove it. Kim is moved and thanks her. Later, Molly fantasizes about reporting on Katie's demise. While Ben and Denise bask in the afterglow of their night together, Ben admits he has no regrets because he believes they are truly married and it will soon be official. Ben asks Denise and Hope to move in with him and Denise accepts. Denise reluctantly returns to the Hughes house to pick up Hope. Kim promises not to fight Denise in court and asks her and Hope to stay a little while longer. A sympathetic Denise agrees. Tom visits Emily in her office and demands to know why Daniel is there and not at home. Chris and Tom argue when Chris attempts to defend Emily. Later, Chris is appalled when Emily tells him she plans to do a story on the Hughes' war over having Andy declared legally dead. After arguing, Emily fires Chris. Later, Chris hears Emily crying and promises to help her handle Tom if she doesn't print the article about his family. She thanks him, saying he is the only one on her side. Lily and Rose take cover as shots ring out. They plan to meet in Oakdale if they get separated. One of the "Lilys" gets out of the showroom safely while Simon grabs the other, who is knocked unconscious. Hearing footsteps, Simon carries the unconscious "Lily" out. Holden has arrived to check on Lily, and runs into one of the "Lilys," who begs him to protect her. Holden asks "Lily" if she's having an affair with Simon and she denies it. He doubts her story, but she begs him to take her back to Oakdale where she will be safe. Meanwhile, Simon carries the other "Lily" onto a boxcar. When he looks through her pockets for the diamond, he finds the fake. Before he can leave however, the door locks and they start to move.
