Jack refuses to get out of the water, as he continues to look for Curtis. Hal finally pulls Jack out. Jack is torn up over the fact that Curtis would put his life in danger to flee a cop. When Hal calls off the search for the boy, Jack is devastated. Julia takes Jack home and tries to comfort him, but Jack is crushed. Henry walks in on Katie and Holden kissing. Katie apologizes for getting "carried away." Holden tells Katie it was inappropriate and can never happen again. Katie thinks she might be fired, but Holden assures her that her job is safe and reiterates his commitment to his family. Henry orders Katie to stay away from Holden and concentrate on her career. Katie accuses Henry of wanting her himself, but Henry insists he's only interested in her as his ticket to big success. Simon answers the door, but Rose has taken off. Simon accuses Lily of investigating Beloved, but she denies it. Simon warns that she is putting herself in danger by getting involved in this. Later, Lily sneaks out and Simon follows her.
