Lucinda catches Bryant lying. He's supposed to be working, but has planned a riding date with Abigail instead. He gets an idea: he will use Abigail's horse expertise to bet on races. Jennifer cuts school and shows up in a provocative outfit. She becomes embarrassed when she sees Abigail there and tries to make a quick exit, but Bryant uses the opportunity flirt with her. At home, a distressed Jen admits to her mom she wishes she was someone else. Jack confronts Julia when he finds out she has quit the police beat. She confesses how much their kiss affected her. Jack reveals the kiss meant a lot to him too and kisses her again. They are unsure how to proceed, but agree they'd like to try their romance again. Denise, John, Kim and Bob receive more bad news about Andy. A government official reports Andy's helicopter was shot down and survival is unlikely. Kim is devastated and blasts John, who announces he's going to work anyway. Denise tries to comfort Kim. Kim gets emotional when Ben shows up and Denise asks Ben to leave. Kim decides to fly to Washington D.C. to get rescue efforts underway. Camille tenderly holds John as he tries to cover his pain. Camille is hostile to Isaac, still angry about the way he blew her off last night. Later, she realizes he was helping underprivileged kids and aplogizes for misjudging him.
