As The World Turns: Ep. #11040

Jack and Carly are about to make love when Brad returns. Jack hides, but realizes that Carly never asked Brad for a divorce. She admits this and insists that she loves Jack anyway - she just can't reveal the true reason that she's unable to separate from Brad. Jack storms out, refusing to have a relationship based on deceit. Later, Jack and Rosanna share their frustrations about Carly's destructive behavior. Downstairs, Brad discovers the romantic set-up and guesses that Jack is with Carly. After Jack leaves, a depressed Carly confronts Brad and admits the truth, saying that she's now all his. Brad offers genuine sympathy and, to her astonishment, says that he loves her unconditionally. They kiss passionately, and soon they succumb to their passion. Reid reveals to Julia that he's making plans for them to be married within a month. He's also secretly arranged for Liam to receive emergency news from home, requiring Liam to return to California. Reid invites Julia to the place where he's keeping Melinda, telling her it's a beautiful getaway. Holden reads the unsigned letter from Rita, which claims that their baby is with their worst enemy. He dismisses it as a hoax. Lily isn't so sure, especially when she finds a torn photo of Melinda. Cass assures a suspicious Eddie that he's not Eddie's father: he was Deena's friend, and offered her legal advice about keeping custody of her baby. Cass reveals that Deena never told the baby's father of her pregnancy. Georgia discovers Shirley at the reunion party, and is astonished to hear that Alec bribed Shirley to keep silent about Deena. Georgia accuses Alec of manipulating Eddie. Alec harshly warns her to keep out of this!
