Episode Summary

Aang and Momo have arrived at Ba Sing Se to find Appa, and discover that the Fire Nation is attacking. He quickly finds the others and informs them what is happening. Meanwhile, Zuko and Iroh get to know Jet, who says he wants to join them.

Episode Notes

In this episode it hints that Toph has a crush on Sokka.

Toph mentions her old nickname for Aang, "Twinkle Toes".

There is a small hint in this episode that Ty-Lee has a crush on Sokka.

This is the second time Aang and Azula fight; the first time being in "The Chase".

Originally aired as the second part of a two-part special called "The Secret of the Fire Nation".

Aang: We need a plan.

Sokka: Why are you looking at me?
Aang: You're the idea guy.
Sokka: So I'm the only one who can come up with a plan?!
Katara: You're also the complaining guy.
Sokka: I can deal with that.

Sokka: (after entering the hole Toph made to ambush the drill) Hey, it's too dark down here, I can't see!
Toph: (sarcsatically) Oh no, what a nightmare!
Sokka: Oh. Right.

(Zuko slaps tea out of Iroh's hand)
Iroh: Hey!
Zuko: What are you doing Firebending your tea? For a wise old man, that was a pretty stupid move!
Iroh: I know you're not supposed to cry over spilt tea, but-(looks at tea, sniffling) It's just so sad.
