First of the final episodes I have to say it was a good one. The gang not accepting Zuko into their group at first was perfect, even though Toph said he wasn't lying, which was completely understandable after what Zuko did to them. Zuko trying to be good was funny, especially after he imagined what Iroh and Azula would do in the same situation. My favorite part of the episode is where Katara threatened to kill Zuko if he hurt Aang. I don't think Katara has ever been so cold to anyone not even Azula.
My only complaint was the fact that Combustion Man's disobeying Zuko wasn't explained and he was seemingly killed off without a explanation(was he working for Azula now?). |

Definitely a great episode. I'm so pysched it's back!
As for the combustion man, I was satisfied with his ending. He's hardcore into his job and once he's hired I think he's determined to get it done no matter what. So when Zuko tried to stop him he didn't listen because he didn't care and just wanted to kill the avatar. So, of course, the only way to end that storyline without killing Aang would be to kill the combustion man.

To be fair Zuko said the same thing about changing to Katara in Cross Roads to Destiny and when she trusted him he attacked her and Aang which led to Azula killing Aang. We already know Katara has problem with losing people such as her mother's death or her father going to fight in the war. I don't blame Katara for not trusting Zuko or threatening him he has already hurt Aang before and she doesn't want to lose anymore people.
