	Commander Jeffrey Sinclair [Season 1], played by Michael O'Hare Sinclair was selected by the Minbari to command Babylon 5 as they had realized that he possessed the soul of Valen, a hero of the Minbari who led them to victory 1000 years ago against the Shadows. He took command when the station was brought into operation. His mission wasn’t clear to him, but as the first season of B5 progresses, we find out that he may have a greater purpose than commanding the spacestation.
