The newsroom sitcom portion: not terrible but not great.
The "I had your love child ten years ago" portion: too much schmaltz with a side of who cares.
I don't know. It didn't really stand out as the solid traditional sitcom the buzz made it out to be. Patricia Heaton and Kelsey Grammer are solid performers, obviously, but that doesn't mean anything if the material is disappointing, which I felt it was. |

The second show, which I watched this morning, was really good. I'm glad i gave it a second chance. I WILL continue to tape and watch. |
