Een HBO Serie van Steven Spielberg en Tom Hanks. Band of Brothers (broeder band) is een tien delige miniserie. De serie is gebaseerd op het book van Stephan Ambrose "Band of Brothers: E Company, 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne From Normandy to Hitler's Eagle's Nest".

De serie volgt het pad van Easy Company een unit die bestaat uit elite parachutisten. Als ze van hun basis training in Camp Tocca naar parachutespringen in D-Day. Hun Kritieke rol in "the Battle of the Bulge" en uiteindelijk een triomf aan het einde van de oorlog. Ze waren de best getrainde en meest succes volle unit in de gehele Amerikaanse militaire geschiedenis.

Band of Brothers was genomineerd voor 19 Emmy awards. Ze wonnen er 6. Ook wonnen ze een Golden Globe voor "Best Mini-Series en Motion Picture Made for Television". De award winnende serie won ook American Film Institute Award, een Peabody Award en een Writer's Guild Award.
