111 :10x01 - A Modern and Zen Makeover

Sep/08/2014
This bathroom is ill equipped for this family of four. It's bland, boring and lacking in square-footage. To fix this, Bath Crashers takes the bedroom next door to create a modern space with an Asian inspired theme. A sliding translucent panel divides the room. One side has a double vanity, tub and massive walk-in shower. The other side is a powder room for guests. The vanity area is given natural light with floor-to-ceiling windows on either side and a touch of tech is installed with a hidden TV mirror. Bamboo floors lay the groundwork for this Zen space and an illuminated bamboo wall sits behind a tub that plays music.

112 :10x02 - Geometric Wood Wall

Sep/08/2014
A bath with carpet and angled walls is reshaped and expanded with eclectic touches. A free-standing soaker tub sits atop 24in.x48in. slab tiles and is framed by a DIY sculptured wood wall. A floating vanity with vessel sinks and wall-mounted faucets are accessed by a pivoting door and a salvaged china cabinet is transformed into extra storage.

113 :10x03 - Fabulous Flip

Sep/15/2014
A large bath is flipped on its footprint to feature functional elegance. A double walk-in shower runs the length of the room with one half dedicated to steam and body sprays. The carpet is replaced with hand-scraped hickory flooring, atop which sit separate his and her vanities. A wine bar adds extra storage and is set off with a hand-crafted burned-wood countertop and mosaic backsplash. A do-it-yourself knee-wall made with glass and artificial tree branches adds privacy in the right place, and the main wall becomes an eye-catcher with a beautiful stenciled plaster treatment.

114 :10x04 - Mile High Ceiling

Sep/15/2014
This bathroom is too big, ugly and tacky for these homeowners. To tackle their bathroom nightmare, they call upon Bath Crashers to create a modern masterpiece for the space. They gut it down to the studs and re-build the room with function and style. The walk-in shower is now big enough for two with seven fixtures and music. The freestanding tub is art and sits in front of an ethanol-burning fireplace. The materials are the perfect combination of rustic meets modern with three-dimensional tiled walls and dark hardwood on the floor that are given new light with several floor-to-ceiling windows

115 :10x05 - The Bigger the Better

Sep/22/2014
This big bathroom is made even bigger by taking space from an unused sitting room with fireplace. Taking down the wall opens up the space for this modern makeover the homeowners wanted. A giant walk-through shower has two entrances and shower stations with body sprays. The existing fireplace gets a new face with a sleek, stacked stone that sits underneath a TV mirror. A larger window with plantation shutters lets in natural light and creates the perfect view for the infinity tub, which sits in the center of the room.

116 :10x06 - Bamboo Bliss

Sep/22/2014
A small, ho-hum master bath is expanded by stealing space from a walk-in closet, which becomes a large, 2-person steam shower that features music and chromatherapy lights. A long, sleek, bamboo vanity replaces the old 1-person station and features offset bamboo drawer pulls. Two mirrors are encased in unique bamboo cases with a mid-century modern geometric design. Textured wall panels dress up the entire vanity wall, and the floor features classy, elegant bamboo planking. The walk-in is replaced with a new closet system that extends from the end of the vanity into the bedroom along an entire bedroom wall, and features sliding doors with a bamboo veneer.

117 :10x07 - Mile Hi Makeover

Sep/29/2014
Making this space a real retreat starts with trashing the tub that takes up half the room. In its place is a large, unique, steam shower featuring pebbles on the floor, sleek glass tiles on the back wall, and multi-colored blue octagonal tiles on the front wall to produce a rain drop effect. The entire shower space is accessed from glass doors on each side. The shower floor pebbles flow outside the wet area to form a faux moat with LED lighting, then segues into planks of hand-scraped eucalyptus wood flooring for the remainder of the room. The shower is flanked on each side by storage cabinets with a special make-up mirror and hidden bench seat for her.

118 :10x08 - Construction Grade to Upgrade

Sep/29/2014
Bath Crashers doesn't do beige, so a construction grade space is the perfect project to tear down and start over. Goodbye golden oak and hello to new, modern materials and amenities. A sleek soaking tub replaces the ugly corner jetted one that never go used. A two-person shower with waterproof TV is added for extra entertainment. LED lit trim and solar tube mix modern and natural light and a cocktail bar with butcher-block countertop completes this once boring bathroom's new transformation.
