Batman: The Brave and The Bold is an all new modern-day retro take on not only the Batman franchise, but also the glory days of the DC Universe mythology, returning to the classic traditions and sense of fun as depicted in the Silver Age of comics.

In this action-packed "Biff Pow Bashathon" based on the legendary crossover publication of the same name, Batman: The Brave and The Bold features the caped crusader teaming with several heroes such as Green Arrow, Aquaman, Plastic Man, Red Tornado, Guy Gardner, the Atom, and concurrent hero The Blue Beetle, to combat foes such as Gorilla Grodd, Kite-Man, Kanjar Ro, and Black Manta amongst other classic villains familiar to Batman fans.

3x15: Mitefall! recap: In 1865, Abraham Lincoln and his wife Mary enjoy a performance of My American Cousin, unaware that John Wilkes Booth has entered their private compartment. Booth prepares to shoot the President, but Batman arrives and disarms him. Undeterred, the assassin activates his steam-powered battle armor. While Lincoln gets his wife to safety, Batman tries to tackle Booth. He fails, but Lincoln grabs a fireaxe, cuts Booth’s steam line, and knocks him back. Batman recovers and they throw axe and Batarang together, causing Booth’s steam valve to explode. Once the assassin is subdued, Batman congratulates Lincoln and departs back through a portal to his own reality... read more.

3x13: Crisis: 22,300 Miles Above Earth! recap: Joker has captured Batman and tied him to a giant spit. He then explains that he is holding a celebrity roast and Batman is the guest of honor. Gorilla Grodd steps up first and he stumbles through his comedy routine. Mr. Freeze tries punning without success, and Solomon Grundy is unintelligible as always. Finally the Joker brings in comedian Jeffrey Ross, who apologizes to Batman for being forced to roast him. The villains are less than amused at first but finally catches on as he taunts Robin. Batman frees himself with a hidden lockpick while the villains are distracted laughing. Once he’s loose, the villains run in terror but Batman knocks most of them out. Jeffrey Ross knocks out Joker and suggests that he might fight crime, but Batman recommends that he stick to comedy... read more.

3x12: Powerless! recap: Batman meets with his fellow Batmen, the Batmen of All Nations, at their newly-refurbished headquarters. They admire the statues that Batman commissioned, only for Batman to point out that he didn’t commission any statues. The statue of Batman cracks open, revealing the face of Joker beneath. The Joker leaps out of one statue, as do the Jokers of All Nations. The two teams come together in titanic conflict, while Joker fires a flamethrower at Batman, destroying the meeting table. Batman blocks the nozzle with a Batarang and Joker is forced to discard the overheating weapon.
