Batman teams up with Aquaman to take on pirates. After they defeat the villains, Aquaman returns home to Atlantis. However, Mera and Arthur Jr. have starfish-shaped alien parasites attached to their face. They attack Aquaman, who manages to hold them off only to discover that the rest of Atlantis has been similarly possessed. All of them chant "Starro lives!" as Aquaman swims outside. He discovers that even Fluke has been possessed. Starro's representative, the alien Faceless Hunter, arrives and informs Aquaman that Atlantis is but the first city to fall before the alien starfish conqueror. Episode Quotes
Batman: This time, pirates, you walk the plank... right into prison.
Aquaman: This will make quite a chapter in my new memoir: "20,000 Victories Under the Sea." What do you think?
Batman: I'll wait for the movie.

Aquaman: How ironic that the very face of evil has none!

Batman: Your toxic tantrum ends here, Chemo.

Batman: Madmen like you come in many forms, but liquid, gas, or solid, they always wind up in the same state—inert.

Iron: You can do it, Tin Boy. You've got a hero's heart.
Gold: But it's inside my body. Which I'd like back when I'm done.

Doc Magnus: It's not the body, it's the head on the body wherein true heroism lies. You're all precious metals to me.
