Recap
At a museum hosting an exhibit of stage magic through the ages, guards are suddenly wrapped up in curtains as the villainous magician, Abra Kadabra, appears in a flash of smoke. Batman attacks and the magician warns that he's no match for his enchantments, but Batman reveals he's brought an assistant: Zatanna. Abra fires a mystical blast and Batman pulls Zatanna to safety. The sorceress wraps Abra in mystical chains, but he slips free and turns the audience into puppets. He then gags Zatanna while the puppets overwhelm Batman. Abra suspends him over Houdini's water trap, but Batman frees himself and disarms Abra. Zatanna picks up the wand, breaks it, and pulls the fleeing Abra into her hat and shrinks him into a cage...

Episode Quotes
Abra Kadabra: Batman! Your clumsy antics are no match for my sorcery.
Batman: Don't worry. I brought an assistant.
Zatanna: Surrender, Abra. Don't make me say it backwards.
Priest: Do you have anything you need to confess?
Moxon: Confess? Yeah, sure. Why not? When I was 9, I beat up Jimmy Flaherty for kissing my sister. Yelled at my wife once. Lied about my weight on my driver's license. Oh, uh, and there's the 40 years I spent running Gotham's rackets. Heh.
Thug: To Louie Moxon. A legend in his own time. There was never a greater force to be reckoned with.
Batman: Then you've never reckoned with the force of justice.
Phantom Stranger: Batman, I'm here to offer you an insight into your parents' demise.
Batman: What do you know?
Phantom Stranger: Most things.
Joe Chill: If it can do this... just think of what it will do to the Batman.
Poison Ivy: $10,000.
Two-Face: $50,000.
Joker: Two bits. (everyone stares) Thought I'd lighten the mood.
Spectre: If this man lives, Batman dies.
Batman: Batman may die, but Bruce Wayne... never.
