Batman: The Devil's Fingers (1)

Famed concert pianist Chandell is being blackmailed by his evil twin Harry, who knows that Chandell used a player piano at the White House performance which made him famous. Chandell's plan is to woo and then marry Aunt Harriet, then dispose of Bruce and Dick in order to get hold of the Wayne fortune so he can pay his brother $5,000,000. Or, at least, that's the plan he told his brother... When Batman interferes, Harry and his piano movers get the drop on the Dynamic Duo, and feed them into a machine that makes player piano rolls - a machine that will leave them permanently perforated!

Episode Quotes
Gordon: Ohh! Catastrophic! Unprecedented! Batman and Robin not available! You--you know what this means, don't you?
O'Hara: If you're thinking what I'm afraid you're thinking...
Gordon: Precisely, Chief O'Hara. The moment we've dreaded for years has arrived. This time... we're going to have to solve a case ourselves.

Gordon: I'm frightened, Chief O'Hara. An echo haunts my ears.
O'Hara: I'd give me right arm to hear it now.
Gordon: The noblest, most inspiring words in the entire English language.
Gordon and O'Hara: "To the Batmobile, Robin. Let's go!"

Dick: Gee, Sal.
Sally: Gosh, Dick.
Dick: That about says everything, doesn't it?
Sally: Um-hmm.

Batman: The poor devil. He's been assaulted with a root beer bottle!

Chandell: I've covered for the fiend long enough. It was my criminal twin brother... Harry.
Robin: Holy fratricide! Any idea where he hangs out?
Chandell: As a matter of fact, yes. His lair is an abandoned music roll factory. 20 B Front Street. Zip code, 9999979.

Narrator: Holy sour note! The Dynamic Duo, perforated into piano rolls! How will this music end? Tune in tomorrow for the dire, dreadful dirge. Same Bat-Time, Same Bat-Channel!!!
