Batman: The Zodiac Crimes (1)

The Joker has returned to plague Gotham, and announces that he will commit a series of Zodiac crimes - one for each sign! The first is the theft of the police department's "Rare Art Map" that permits them to look in on valuable pieces at a moment's notice. It corresponds to Aries, the Ram (R.A.M.) Worse than that, he has brought that pudgy purveyor of perfidy, The Penguin in to help him! And when Batman discovers his location, he overpowers the Duo and plans to crush them beneath an eight-ton meteorite!

Episode Quotes
The Joker: Venus! Venus, will you stop bouncing?
Venus: Your orders, Joker--a larcenous mind in a limber body. We must stay in trim, Batman's no fool.

Venus: What's inside, Joker? Two thousand dollars is a lot of money!
The Joker: Ah, this merchandise is worth $2,000!
The Penguin: It's worth $200,000. You cheapskate! At least you could have sent me a plane ticket!

The Penguin: You are a man after my own heart, Joker.
The Joker: Black, eh?
The Penguin: Black as pitch!

The Joker: Are you sure you can handle this, Pengy?
The Penguin: What? Those booted buttinskis are no match for The Penguin. I'll slice them to slivers. I'll pound them to pieces. I'll dice them to driblets.

Venus: I may be felonious but I'm no fink.
Batman: I'm pleased to see that you have standards, Venus, albeit unlawful ones.

Venus: Batman, I realize right now I've made a terrible mistake.
Batman: Repentance is better late than never, Venus.
The Joker: Eww. You're making me ill. Ucch!

Narrator: Can it be? The Dynamic Duo crushed to death by an eight ton meteorite?? Will the Joker's prophecy come true?? Are their horoscopes cancelled?? Is this their last star....?? Tune in tomorrow! Same Time! Same Channel! Same Peril!!
