Batman: That Darn Catwoman (1)
Catwoman's new potion cataphrenic upsets the moral balance, turning heroes into villains! She orders Pussycat, her protege, to dose Robin with the drug, and Robin then helps her rob Wayne Manor! It's part of a plan to acquire a million dollars, so she can purchase the plans for the Gotham Mint from a retired gangster. And when Batman interferes, she orders Robin to beat him senseless, then ties Batman to a giant mousetrap. If he doesn't agree to serve her, she'll have Robin set the trap off!
Pussycat: But I'm just a rock-n-roll singer. I'm not a crook.
Catwoman: Oh, forget it. You're 20 years old. You're over the hill.
Pussycat: My name is Pussycat. I want to be alone with you, Robin.
Robin: Alone with me? But why?
Pussycat: I can see a very important part of your education has been grossly neglected.
Robin: That's a funny-looking outfit you're wearing.
Pussycat: I could say the same for you... big boy.
Catwoman: Now either you're gonna be a singer or an arch-criminal. You can't be both.
Pussycat: Do I have a choice?
Catwoman: No. You're too short.
Batman: Catwoman, I find you to be odious, abhorrent, and insegrievious.
Catwoman: Dealing with you has expanded my vocabulary and increased my word power. A whole lot.
(putting Batman in a giant mousetrap)
Catwoman: If you agree to help me, I'll let you out. If not, Robin will cut the rope, the steel bar will snap, and you'll be divided into equal parts. In other words... *heh* you'll be besides yourself.
Narrator: Holy Bat-Trap! What a decision! A life of crime or no life at all!! There's no way out! Or is there?? Tune in next week for the shocking answer!! Same Cat-Time!! Same Cat-Channel!!!
Inventor Pat Pending's name is a take-off on "pat. pending" which appears on products whose designs have been submitted for patent protection, before the protection is granted. It warns potential competitors that if they copy the design they may face future patent suits, even though there is no patent yet.
