Dead Man's Hand - Recap

The episode opens with a man sailing, on a small sailboat. A giant yacht is headed for him, so he turns to go a different way. A wave of water covers him, and he begins to shout at the people in the Yacht. The Royal Flush Gang soon appears on the Yacht and they begin to attack the passengers. They are after jewels, and watches, and other things. The member ten begins to take the stuff.

Batman looks as they do this. Batman goes after them.

Back on the Yacht, Ten and Jack are tormenting a woman. Batman flies in and punches Jack as Ace grabs him and throws him. Batman pushes Ace off the deck and goes to engage battle with the others. King ties Batman up. Queen destroys a piece of equipment as Batman frees himself. Queen and them escape as Batman saves the passengers.

Now, we arrive at a dance club where Terry tries to explain for being late. Dana tells him that she is fed up with him being late all the time. Meanwhile, Melanie Walker watches as Terry and Dana argue. Dana walks away from Terry, and Terry walks out of the club. Melanie talks to him.

Melanie and Terry walk through the streets of Gotham Melanie and Terry are talking about his job for Bruce Wayne. Melanie kisses Terry after a conversation and the Terry is startled. He tells her that she is moving a little fast. She says that’s how she does things, and then they arrange a meeting the next night.

Terry walks into the Batcave, and he is greeted by Bruce saying “your late.” Terry tells Bruce Dana and him broke up due to this job. Bruce tells Terry about the Royal Flush gang.

Meanwhile, Jack and Ace are sword fighting, and King walks in and yells at them. King tells them why he hates Batman, and he tells them he wants revenge. King hits Jack when he gives him a smart comment. Ten walks in, but she is not in costume… she is Melanie Walker…

Ten begins to de-activate the security system, and then she finishes.

Batman is driving through Gotham City, and Bruce Wayne tells Terry where he needs to go.

Ten tells them that they have finished, and the Royal Flush gang hovers into the building. King grabs a sword and a guard shouts at him. The gang is surrounded, and The Royal Flush gang begins to make their move away. Batman engages in battle with the gang. He takes out Ace first, and then Queen zaps him with a ray. Jack kicks Batman in the side. Batman uses a shield to reflect a beam, and he uses that to hit Jack with it, then he throws it at Queen. Batman and Ten begin to fight, and Ten punches Batman. Jack grabs a hostage so that they can escape. King tells Batman not to follow, but after they get a good distance, Batman flies after them. King orders to drop the guard, and Batman goes to save the guard. Meanwhile, the Royal Flush gang flies away.

Terry runs up to where he is supposed to meet Melanie, and he notices she is not there. Melanie runs up to Terry and then they begin to hug. Then they kiss and the camera pans into the sky.


Terry and Melanie walk through the streets of the city again, and Melanie begins to tell him that her family might be moving again, and they hug once more. Melanie runs away.

Bruce greets Terry with “Late Again.” Bruce tells Terry he has to stop the gang tonight, Bruce and Terry then get in an argument. Terry runs away after insulting Bruce.

At the hotel, King is yelling at Melanie and she tells him that he is being stupid with his revenge thirst for Batman. Queen tells Melanie that Terry is not worth leaving the family.

Terry sits on a bench as Melanie tells Terry that she cannot see him again. The two of them break up. Terry runs over to a GCPD thing and then he begins to track the last call that Melanie made to him.

As Batman, Terry breaks in to see what is going on in the apartment, and he discovers that Melanie and her family are the Royal Flush gang.

The Royal Flush gang flies in. King tells the RFG to go look around the hotel room, to look for Batman. Batman gasses Queen when she comes near him. Batman takes down Jack, but Ace goes after him and he begins to give Batman a thrashing. Batman throws Ace into a wall and he sends him down the laundry shoot with a bomb. Terry runs in to see Ten and then she walks away as King blasts him with a card. Batman and King fight as Melanie runs in to get her father. A police man shoots her card.

Terry watches as police arrest Melanie and her family. Bruce Wayne walks up to him, and Terry apologizes. Terry asks Bruce if this had ever happened to him before, and then Bruce begins to tell him a story about Selina Kyle… a.k.a Catwoman….
