Though she fantasizes about rescuing Batman from the Joker, Penguin and Twoface, Barbara Gordon has given up her double life as Batgirl. That is, until a rare cat statue is stolen from her university museum. All clues point to Catwoman as the thief, but when Batgirl investigates, she discovers another crook actually committed the crime. Teaming up, Batgirl and Catwoman discover Roland Daggett masterminded the scheme, and with a little assist from Robin, succeed in putting the villain away for good.
The title of this episode is a reference to the film Batman Returns
Final appearance of Batgirl.
This is the only episode in which Robin and Catwoman are in the same episode.
Batgirl: If you let him fall, you're no better than he is.
Catwoman: Oh, grow up!
Batgirl: So what’re you going to do? Leave us hanging over one of these vats with acid burning through the rope?
Daggett: (laughs) If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that you crime-fighting types are very resourceful. So I’ll just have my men shoot you, and throw your bodies into the vats.
Catwoman: You should have said 'yes.'
Batgirl: If I had, I'd be a rat with wings.
Catwoman: Bats are just mice with wings, little girl.
Batgirl: If you're innocent, come down to the police headquarters with me and tell them your story.
Catwoman: That's also not my style.
