  Episode Quotes
Lee: Marines, let’s go toaster shopping.

Billy: Are those gunshots?
Cpl. Venner: Yeah.
Billy: We can't stay in here.
Roslin: Open the door.
Venner: You know I can't do that, Madam President.
Roslin: Cpl. Venner, I have no intention of being locked in this cell and shot like a rat in a cage. Open the door!

Lee: We've been boarded. The deck is crawling with Cylons. They're trying to get to the magazines.
Roslin: How can we help?
Lee: Stay alive and don't get shot.

Kara: You know, everyone I know is fighting to get back what they had. I'm fighting 'cause I don't know how to do anything else.

Dualla: (referring to Billy's gun) Okay, if you're going to keep it in your trousers like that, you might want to turn the safety on.

Tigh: I can't believe you sided with that woman against the Old Man. I wouldn't do that if you put a gun to my head... and you did. As far as I'm concerned, you're not fit to wear a uniform.
Lee: Hmm. You're right about that part. I am not fit to wear the uniform... and maybe I never was. Then again, neither were you. But this isn't my ship, and it sure as hell isn't yours. (motions to Adama) It's his, and when he wakes up, he'll decide what to do with the both of us.
(Lee leaves)
Tigh: Thank the Gods I didn't have kids.

  Episode Goofs

  Cultural References
The title of this episode is taken from Psalm 23 of the Bible. The line is from the Judaica Press translation of the text:

"Even when I walk in the valley of darkness, I will fear no evil for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff-they comfort me."
