| In the scene on Colonial One, Roslin can be seen updating the survivor count after the death of one of Phelan's henchman. However, it is the same as the one given post-teaser, which means, barring a continuity error, the toll is offset by a birth in the fleet.
| This episode is Ron Moore's least favourite episode, and has made his disappointments with it well known, but has taken full responsibility for its failings.
| John Mann, who portrayed CAG Jackson Spencer in the miniseries, plays the character of Linden in this episode, though his scene was ultimately cut.
