Episode Quotes
Tigh: Never thought I'd miss all Starbuck's yakking.
Tigh: (addressing Adama) Your Honour.
(Adama looks confused)
Tigh: You haven't heard. Where you been? They just announced it. You won the lottery. You now own exactly 1/5 of Baltar's skinny ass.
Lampkin: Love. Precocious evolutionary move, fashioning Cylons to be capable of experiencing it. I don't know if it was engineered as a tactical imperative, but... it's not for the faint-hearted, is it?
Caprica-Six: No, it's not.
Lampkin: Maybe you should have been nicer to your mechanic.
Lee: So what did you take from me?
Lampkin: Hmm. I was thinking, the photograph that you carry. The girl. The pilot. The one you're carrying. But... you've had enough stolen from you already.
Lee: Hey, how's the leg?
Sam: You mean my lucky break? It gave me a reason not to come up here. But sooner or later, you run out of excuses.
Lee: It's hard to let her go.
Cultural References
Lampkin: Be the bad boy, be the prodigal son.
This is an allusion to the well known
parable of the Prodigal Son. The story is of a son who defies his father by leaving him and spending his wealth until he returns home to his father's forgiveness.
It is of note that this seems to be anachronism because as a story told by Jesus in the Bible, it is therefore a Judeo-Christian reference, such a thing not existing in the show's universe.
The episode's title is a play on the title of Ernest Hemingway's 1926 novel,
The Sun Also Rises.
