I have a question about an event in this episode.

A Cylon scanned Sam's eye and saw the red flash from his eye, so the Cylon attack against the fleet halted...

Was the Cylon that scanned him a "living ship" Raider or the pilot of one of the Cylon fighters from the original series? I seem to remember vaguely that the fleet discovered a small fleet of Cylon ships, including Basestars, that were "old school". So the fighter ships were not the living Raiders of today but instead had Centurions piloting them like in the olden days.

I looked at the Cylon scanning Sam's eyes and it sure seemed like a (small) Centurion's face not a (large) Raiders "face".

Is that accurate or am I just crazy?

Not sure if I get the question, but tI'm pretty sure it's the raider that scanned Sam's eyes, not any centurions.
