Was this episode uneventful? Maybe, but I wouldn't say it was uninteresting. Like Helo said, something is coming. Watching this felt like this was part of something huge. I have a feeling that this finale will be the best so far, and may just go down as one of the most memorable in television history (oh, I hope I don't regret saying that).

I suspect that this will be a theory-galore thread. The first thing floating to mind is the music we keep hearing. What's it mean?

Well, I'm just going to cut to it: I believe that Tory, Anders, and Tigh are Cylons. Three out of the Final Five. The fact that they keep hearing what the others don't, and that Tigh and especially Tory are acting odd indicates something is amiss. My theory on the music is that it's maybe tied to the opera house. You know, the one Six took Baltar to on Kobol and where Three saw visions of the Final Five.

Anyone else have any other thoughts?

This episode gave me a new feel of some sort, and I like that. There's definately something going on with that music that Tigh is hearing, but I don't think he or Tory or Anders are Cylons. A lot of open ended stuff happened and I'm very excited for the finale. Something is definately coming. And I miss those Cylon confrontation.

I now take back my belief that Tigh is a Cylon because of conflicting evidence. In fact, I now doubt the possible Cylon nature of Anders and Tory as well. But I do have a new theory:

The three hearing the music are actually hearing it because they have a relationship to three of the final five. We know Saul's wife is heavily suspect of being a Cylon the moment she showed up, and that he is aggrivated by the music, especially when testifying about murdering Ellen, is an interesting connection. Anders had a relationhip with Kara who I hope is a Cylon (oh please, oh please, oh please!). Tory is an open case. I would love that this reveals a dark past of hers. Maybe she has a secret history (a la Sheppard Book in Firefly) that contrasts to her usual composed nature. It would certainly explain why the music causes her to loose her cool. But I still believe there's a connection to the opera house.

And you're right one about the feel. Even before Helo's comment, the whole thing felt that this was the prelude to the coming of something that would rearrange a lot of face for things.
