With the WGA strike ended, it's reported that Galactica will resume its production in March 24 after it was shut down back in November, with cast and crew fully expected to return to finish the product.
However, it's still unknown when the latter half of the season (i.e. the last 11 episodes of the series) will air. It seems at best that the episodes will make it to air later this year, but maybe as late as early 2009. According to TVShowsOnDVD, this gap will effect the DVD release, splitting the sets into 4.0 and 4.5, similar to Season 2, which also lingered off-air for more than a couple of months. It's release date has obviously not been set, but there's suspicion that Universal will wait until the last half of Season 4.
