Beavis and Butt-Head

Beavis and Butt-Head

Beavis and Butt-head is the creation of Mike Judge. It started as a clip on MTV's "Liquid Television" - a show that featured brilliant and unusual animation. Beavis and Butt-head debuted as its own series in March of 1993 on MTV, introducing the world to their own special brand of humor. This is a world where parents are nearly non-existent, grasshoppers are punished by chainsaw, where cockroach-infested nachos are a delicious treat, and two bored young teens can get into a world of trouble.

When not sleeping through classes or torturing their teachers at Highland High School, they amuse themselves by watching TV, trying to score with chicks, and annoying everyone in town. The show alternates between the misadventures of the two boys and music videos (& MTV programming such as Jersey Shore & Teen Mom as of the 2011 Reboot), which they critique in their simple and opinionated way.

8x21: Beavis and Butt-head Are Dead recap: When Mr. Van Driessen takes roll, he notices Beavis and Butt-head are absent, as they have been for three weeks. He discusses this with Principal McVicker, who tries to initiate phone contact with the boys' parents. Beavis answers the phone, and tells the school secretary that Beavis and Butt-head are dead. Principal McVicker is thrilled, while Mr. Van Driessen tearfully informs his class of the news. He shares some memories he has of the boys (shown in flashback clips), as does Daria... read more.

8x20: Our Founding Losers recap: Beavis and Butt-head pull down the American flag in front of the school. Mr. Buzzcut sees them and is so offended at their lack of respect, that he makes them write a paper about the nation's founding fathers... read more.

8x19: Butt Flambé recap: Beavis and Butt-head walk into the hospital, and it appears that Beavis has fried his butt. Beavis is in obvious pain, but he sits next to a very unsympathetic patient in the waiting room who is angry about the noise Beavis is making. Butt-head wants to leave, and just as Beavis is about to follow him out, he finally gets in to see the doctor... read more.

8x17: Speech Therapy recap: Beavis and Butt-head were suspended from school for two weeks, but now they're back. They stop into Principal McVicker's office, who is quite stressed that the boys are back. He remembers that Mr. Van Driessen's class is on a field trip to the botanical gardens, so he's going to have to find someplace for the boys to go. He places them in the new speech therapist's class for the day... read more.

8x13: Work Is Death recap: The boys are screwing around at work, when the boss tells them to be careful, because BurgerWorld can't afford to pay out any more Worker's Compensation. The boys don't know what that is, so the boss explains it's when you get injured at work, and you receive money even though you stay home to recover. The boys think this sounds great, so Butt-head tries to beat up Beavis so he can receive Workman's Compensation. He hits Beavis, kicks him in the crotch, slams a door on him, etc. They make a mess while doing this, and when the boss comes to yell at them, he ends up slipping on stuff they've spilled on the floor, causing him to fall & burn himself on the grill, and hit his head... read more.
