Lawn & Garden - Recap

Mr. Anderson is telling Beavis and Butt-head how to prune his trees. He stops in the middle to ask if they are the ones who rode off with his mower, but they lie tell him no. He tells them how hard he worked pruning as a kid, and the boys look uninterested. Anderson goes inside to drink beer, musing about the little bastards who took his mower the week before.

Anderson yells at the boys to get moving, so they try to figure out what it is they were supposed to do. Anderson stands in the yard and smokes and drinks beer, while Beavis struggles to snip a branch. Butt-head gets the idea that if they have to cut off all the branches anyway, they might as well just cut the tree at the base and save themselves the work, which Beavis thinks is a great idea. Anderson is still smoking and drinking. Butt-head uses a chainsaw to cut down the tree, which takes down a couple of power lines and crashes into Anderson's house as it falls.

The boys decide that chainsaws kick ass, and that pruning is cool, and and thrashing their heads when Anderson walks up and sees what they've done. The boys say that since they pruned "extra", that he needs to pay them extra. Anderson just stares, horrified.

In the final scene, Butt-head and Beavis are "judging" a grasshopper, in the style of The People's Court. They sentence the grasshopper to death, and as Beavis chainsaws the grasshopper, he also cuts off Butt-heads finger.
