Beavis and Butt-head are wading in a creek, looking for a missing kid. When Beavis asks why they are doing this, Butt-head says it's so they can get their photos on milk cartons and earn the reward for finding him. A golf ball bounces off Beavis' forehead, knocking him over, and lands in the creek. Mr. Anderson appears above them on the bank, asking if they've seen his golf ball, but Butt-head lies and says no. The view pulls back, and it appears the creek they're standing in runs right through a golf course. ..Read the full recap
Butt-head: Beavis, your balls are filthy. Go to the ball washer. Now.
(The boys are overhearing one golfer helping another)
Dusty: You're pulling your head on every stroke. Let me see your bag. (the boys laugh)
Here - take your wood and try using a different grip on the shaft. (the boys laugh harder)
Dusty: Whaddya say there, Tom. How'd ya hit 'em?
Mr. Anderson: Well, I tell you what, Dusty, I felt like a one-legged cat trying to bury turds on a frozen pond out there today. And I still got three holes to go!
Mr. Anderson: Hey now, wait a minute. These look kinda familiar.
Butt-head: Uh... Many balls look the same, sir.
Beavis: Yeah. I have two that are identical.
When Beavis gets hit in the forehead with Mr. Anderson's golf ball, it causes a huge red mark. But in the next scene, it's completely gone, even though it's unlikely he'd heal so quickly.
Butt-head: (reading the writing on a golf ball) Look what I got! Tit - lee - ist.
Butt-head is mispronouncing the brand name of the golf ball, which is Titleist. Titleist balls are probably more famous than any other brand, and the company also makes golf clubs and other equipment as well. Their motto is, "Serious clubs for serious golfers."
Beavis: (watching a Sonic Youth video) Is this Romper Room?
Romper Room was a children's show that was first aired in 1953.
