Beavis and Butt-head walk into the Southland Medical Clinic, and sit in the waiting room of the dental office, right next to a pretty lady who does NOT want them to sit near her. As she holds her magazine in front of her face, and Beavis picks his nose, Butt-head munches a candy bar and tries to hit on her. She slaps him to the floor.

In the dentist's office, Butt-head sits in the chair while the dentist examines his X-ray. As the dentist begins to examine Butt-head's candy-coated teeth with a sharp metal instrument, Butt-head yelps in pain and falls out of the chair. The dentist tries again to examine Butt-head, who refuses to open his mouth, and begins to twist and turn so the dentist can't touch him. The dentist calls the nurse to get the nitrous oxide, but she questions the wisdom of giving Butt-head a dose of laughing gas. The dentist slips the nitrous on Butt-head, who begins laughing uncontrollably, then slumps over in his seat.

In the reception room, Beavis is reading magazines. The receptionist calls Beavis over, and tells him he was holding the magazine so close to his face, that perhaps he should get an eye exam. Beavis agrees to the eye exam when he learns he gets a sucker after it's over.

Beavis sits in the vision exam room and plays with the equipment. The eye doctor has him read the letters on her chart, but since Beavis is barely literate, he can't tell her the correct letters. She just thinks his vision is bad.

Meanwhile, Butt-head is sitting in the dental chair as the nitrous oxide wears off, twitching. When he comes to, he can barely speak. The dentist tells him there were complications, so they had to wire his jaw shut, and it will need to remain that way for a couple of weeks. The dentist offers him a sucker, but mocks him when Butt-head realizes he cant eat it.

Beavis is still trying to read letters, and the eye doctor is getting angry. Beavis finally correctly identifies the letter "O", even though he was probably trying to exclaim "Oh". She gives him an orange lollipop, and a pair of very thick glasses. When he puts them on, everything is suddenly very blurry.

Beavis joins Butt-head out in the waiting room. Beavis has to use his hands to find his way around with the glasses on, and Butt-head's laughs are muffled by his wired jaw. Beavis wanders around, breaking things in the room since he can't see, while Butt-head continues to laugh.

In class, Mr. Buzzcut writes the words "Sexual Intercourse" on the board, and tells Butt-head he can now say the words out loud without getting in trouble. Butt-head of course, tries to say it, but can't due to his dental work. Buzzcut is yelling at Butt-head to say it. Buzzcut kicks him out of class for not cooperating. Buzzcut then turns to Beavis, and asks him to read the board. Beavis, wearing his thick glasses, can't see the letters well enough to read it, even if he were literate. Buzzcut kicks Beavis out, too.

Out in the hall, Beavis asks Butt-head what was written on the board. Beavis can't understand his muffled response, so Butt-head tries sign language to mimic the action of sexual intercourse with his hands, which Beavis can't see.
