Killing Time - Recap

It's 3:58 pm, and the boys were watching professional wrestling on TV, but turn the set off when senior golf comes on. There won't be anything on TV for 2 hours, and the boys know they'll have to find something else to do. At 4:01, they're still just sitting on the couch, and it becomes clear that Beavis has no sense of time when he keeps asking how long until something is on TV, so Butt-head slaps him.

At 4:07, they still haven't thought of anything to do, so they stand up. At 4:14, they go outside to watch the utilities meter in the backyard. They think maybe they can throw up to kill time, but neither of them can throw up right now. 4:27 comes around, and the boys have devised a game to play that involves throwing trash cans at each other. By 4:54, they're outside sitting on the sidewalk, and they briefly consider the possibility of doing homework, they're so bored. At 5:07, Stewart walks up, and they ask him to entertain them. Stewart is thrilled! He begins suggesting things they can do while they hang out, but Beavis and Butt-head tire of him in about five seconds and walk away.

5:45 comes around and they're back on their couch, mind-numbingly bored. At 5:51, Butt-head is sniffing his own finger and Beavis is twitching. At 5:56, Butt-head is nearly cracking, and Beavis is enthusiastically picking his nose. At 5:59, the boys are actually shaking from the lack of TV. And finally, Butt-head picks up the remote and turns the set back on to watch an infomercial for exercise equipment. The boys wonder what people did for entertainment before TV was invented.
