Beavis and Butt-head Are Dead - Recap

<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
When Mr. Van Driessen takes roll, he notices Beavis and Butt-head are absent, as they have been for three weeks. He discusses this with Principal McVicker, who tries to initiate phone contact with the boys' parents. Beavis answers the phone, and tells the school secretary that Beavis and Butt-head are dead. Principal McVicker is thrilled, while Mr. Van Driessen tearfully informs his class of the news. He shares some memories he has of the boys (shown in flashback clips), as does Daria.

Meanwhile, the boys are back home eating nachos and watching re-runs on TV, and the Highland High faculty is having a party to celebrate. Mr. Buzzcut recalls the lack of respect Beavis and Butt-head had for him.

Mr. Van Driessen thinks it would be good to set up a "Beavis and Butt-head" memorial fund, and McVicker calls the press to televise it. The boys see their memorial service on TV, but don't realize it's for them. They see Stewart talking about how the dead boys were his "best friends". They decide they want to see the dead bodies, so they head off to the school.

They walk up just as McVicker is giving a speech about how he'd give back all the money he's collected just to see Beavis and Butt-head one more time. When McVicker sees them, he has a heart attack, and Mr. Buzzcut administers CPR. The boys walk off with the jar of cash.
