The cast of 90210's "high school years" (1990-1993) reunite for the first time to look back on the seasons that made the show a pop culture phenomenon. Classic clips from the first four years are presented, along with humorous anecdotes on what it was like to become huge stars at such a young age.
Kelly kills her rapist, and is arrested. They believe that she did it in self defense, but the gun Dylan gave her was illegally sold. Kelly refuses to tell the cops where it came from. David throws Dylan out, and Donna throws Gina out. Thus, Dylan and Gina move in together. Steve is saddened when Janet tells him she's accepting a job at another paper.
Steve is caught off guard when a secret is revealed by Janet. Donna tries to reconcile with Noah, but he's not interested. Dylan attempts to help an old high-school girlfriend who is down on her luck. Gina conspires to ruin David's surprise birthday party.
Dylan tries to return to college, but is denied. Kelly and Donna prepare to re-open the boutique. Gina attempts to ruin things as usual, but the rest of the gang saves the day. Also, Steve is unsure that he's ready to be a father to he and Janet's baby.
Steve practices proposing marriage to Janet. Dylan asks Gina to move out. Matt's views on marriage anger Kelly. David goes on a date with a girl named Robyn, and discusses everything on his radio show. Noah's attitude towards Donna changes.

Janet's parents react badly to the news of her pregnancy with Steve's child. David's listeners demand more personal details about his love life, but Robyn wants none of it. Gina tries to convince Noah to turn the After Dark in to a "gentlemen's club".
David's new shock jock persona attracts listeners, but pushes away his friends. Matt tries to overturn the death sentence of a convicted rapist and murderer, horrifying Kelly. Even worse, Kelly gets a visit from the parents of her own now-dead rapist. The police raid the After Dark after complaints about Noah and Gina's new clientele. Steve and Janet can't agree on their Halloween plans.
Kelly and Dylan are asked by Steve and Janet to be the godparents of their baby. The death of a homeless man affects Donna greatly. Matt refuses to stop pushing for the convicted rapist's death sentence to be overturned, driving away Kelly. Gina blackmails David's dad.

Dylan is hurt when he and a gay community center employee are the victims of a hate crime. Kelly blames Noah for the separation of her mom and David's dad, after Mel cheated while at the After Dark gentlemen's club. Janet and Steve ask the gang to help them find a place to hold the wedding. Gina is rebuffed by Dylan, and runs to David for comfort.

Kelly finally learns about Gina's part in revealing Mel's infidelity to her mother. Elsewhere, Jackie asks Matt to represent her in the divorce proceedings. Dylan stands up for Andrew after after he loses his job at the community center. Steve and Janet's honeymoon is a disaster.

Janet goes into premature labor on her and Steve's honeymoon. Dylan asks Kelly and Nat to volunteer at a Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless taking place at the community center. Donna learns upsetting facts about her father.
Dylan gives Kelly an expensive gift, angering Matt. Donna reveals the truth about their true family relationship to Gina, and she reacts badly. Donna also learns that Noah wasn't entirely truthful with her either. Steve becomes overprotective of his new baby daughter.
Christmas is in the air, as is awkward family gatherings. Steve confronts Janet's parents about their negative attitudes. Gina meets her biological father. Donna and Noah consider breaking up. Matt proposes to Kelly.
The loss of a client hits Matt financially. Gina tries to help Matt by getting money from Dylan, but Matt refuses, and also keeps the whole thing a secret from Kelly. Noah tries to get over his loss of Donna by hanging out with a pair of wild "swingers".

David and Donna meet promising new love interests. Kelly quits the boutique. Matt is suspended by the state bar over misuse of funds. Dylan and Gina go on a misadventure, and are arrested for drug possession. Steve and Janet hire a nanny.
Matt's sterile brother asks him to donate sperm so that the couple can have a child, but Kelly isn't pleased. Steve reveals his past encounter with their current nanny to Janet. Donna is now running the boutique on her own, and meets a new man as well.

Noah is kidnapped, and Dylan is sent ransom demands. Kelly and Matt prepare to go on a couples game show, with coaching from Steve and Janet. Donna's father tries to bond with Gina. David continues his new relationship with magazine columnist Camille.
Donna's father dies of a massive heart attack, leading her mother to blame Gina. Matt's financial situation worsens, while Kelly considers a new career. Dylan and Gina both decide to leave town. Noah's recent brush with death leads him to drink.
Dylan becomes suspicious that his father Jack McKay faked his death. Noah's drinking problem gets worse when he sees Donna with another man. Kelly gets a public relations job. Donna hires Camille to work at the boutique.

Dylan finds his father alive and well, but with a new family. Noah puts the moves on Donna. Janet disapproves of Steve's return to partying when his step-brother visits. Camille is annoyed by David's constant interaction with Donna.
Jack McKay shows up at Dylan's doorstep, and offers to return to his old life. An old FBI friend warns Dylan against this however. Steve's step-brother Ryan gets a job at the After Dark. David interviews for a job in New York City. Matt re-opens his law practice.

Kelly recruits Steve and Janet's baby for a photo shoot. Noah meets and befriends a fellow AA member named Ellen. Matt and Dylan go on a motorcycle trip, and mistakenly drop acid. Donna walks in on David and Camille making love at the boutique.
Camille causes problems for David and Donna. Matt pushes away Kelly out of guilt for his drug induced one night stand. Steve and Janet baby-sit a dog that gets loose and eats a neighbor's pet. Noah tries helping Ellen get a job, but she resents him butting in.
Noah helps Ellen return to AA, but her views differ on the prospect of recovery. Steve invests in Donna's online business venture, even after Janet said no. Matt continues to lie to Kelly about his one night stand. Donna's business is sabotaged after a bad date with internet salesman Mitch. David grows frustrated with Camille.
Dylan gives Matt and Kelly the odd gift of two open-ended plane tickets for a wedding present. Steve and Janet receive an offer to buy the Beverly Beat. Donna tells David she wants to keep things platonic. Noah meets Ellen's family.

Camille returns to town after a vacation, to find David pining for Donna. When a surfing accident is reported in the area, a worried Kelly thinks it may be Dylan. Janet is offered a better job away from the Beverly Beat, worrying Steve. Noah tries to work things out with Ellen.

David proposes to Donna. Steve struggles with being a stay-at-home dad while Janet works at the paper. Matt's brother suddenly dies, leaving Kelly to console him. Dylan finally earns his college diploma. Noah contemplates his relationship with Ellen.
In the series finale, David and Donna announce their engagement, with the gang rushing to throw them the perfect wedding. Steve asks Janet to partner with him in forming their own publishing company. Noah decides to give his relationship with Ellen another shot. The wedding features several special guests, including Andrea, Valerie, and Brandon. Also, Matt goes back to New York, leaving Kelly to renew things with Dylan.
