This show is about a mortal man who marries a witch and later bore children with special powers, too. Darrin Stevens (Dick York) works for an advertising agency with his boss Larry Tate (David White). A hard working man, Darrin was unaware of his wife Samantha's (Elizabeth Montgomery) powers before they had wed, and once she was outed, demanded that no one ever finds out that she is a witch. This becomes hard when her meddling mother, Endora (Agnes Moorehead), "pops" in for a visit, not to mention the rest of her family. Endora doesn't think too much of "Darwood" as she refers to him, or his mortal ways and encourages Samantha to use her powers to get ahead in the world. The Stevens' neighbors are the Kravitz'. Gladys Kravitz (Alice Pearce) is the only one who seems to catch a peek at the weird happenings at the Stevens household, and has trouble convincing her husband of the strange things she has witnessed. The second season saw the addition of Tabitha (Erin Murphy), the Stevens' first child. Just like Samantha, Tabitha was born a witch, a secret that she attempts to keep from Darrin. Later in the series the Stevens added Adam (David Lawrence), their second child. It seemed at first that Adam was a mortal, but it was later discovered that he was a warlock. Due to a back injury, Dick York was replaced by Dick Sargent (1969-1972) as Darrin, and Alice Pearce was replaced by Sandra Gould as Mrs Kravitz due to an illness. Tabitha went on to be a spin off show.

At a very young age, I always fantasize magical things. This is also the factor why I got hooked with Bewitched the first time I saw it. I love the story of this show. It was a lighthearted sitcom that everyone loves! I love the relationship between Sam & Darren, they only to find out lately that Darren married a witch haha and their family was on fuel! Lol! This show is really funny and very entertaining. This is one of the best sitcom from the 60s era. I'm proud to have a DVD copy of this show which I bought at www.DVDBooth.com . The order came in good condition provided with excellent quality! I truly enjoyed my DVDs because it gave me a chance to relive the moments again.
