After Nicki gets in over her head in debt, she must go to her father, Roman, for help behind Bill's back. Bill finds out that Roman is using Joey to make money off unsuspecting people and is also suffering from weird dreams which he believes might be a sign of something to come. Barb gets a surprising offer while substituting at school. Margene is still trying to get her mother-in-law to like her.
