• U.K.'s Ryan is Bionic Woman |
After an exhaustive search, NBC has chosen British actress Michelle Ryan for the lead role of Jaime Sommers in its upcoming Bionic Woman pilot, Variety reported. The network reported considered better-known stars, but ultimately went with someone who'll be a newcomer to most American viewers, the trade paper reported.
Ryan is known in the United Kingdom for having spent five years on the long-running BBC serial EastEnders.
