• Producer departs "Bionic" laboratory |
NBC's "Bionic Woman," one of the most anticipated series of the new season, has suffered a malfunction before its first episode has even aired.
Glen Morgan has exited as an executive producer, apparently because he wanted to take the drama in a different direction than his cohorts. The "X-Files" veteran had served alongside David Eick ("Battlestar Galactica") and Jason Smilovic, who will remain as executive producers.
"Glen Morgan has helped create a great template for 'Bionic Woman' but has decided to pursue other endeavors now," said a statement from producer Universal Media Studios.
