An enigmatic doctor scorned by the medical community he rejects; a master surgeon who can work miracles in ways the world has never seen - but only for those who can afford him.

To many, he's an unscrupulous mercenary who practices in the shadows. But to others, he's a humanitarian who often puts himself on the line to save his patients if he feels they are worthy.

For over 30 years, Osamu Tezuka's Black Jack and his sidekick, Pinoco, have enthralled generations of manga and anime fans alike with their adventures around the world.

The famous doctor in black now returns in a brand new series directed by Tezuka's son, Makoto Tezuka, which won Best Animation (TV series) at the 2006 Tokyo International Anime Fair!
