| A great show on SpikeTv that should have gotten a chance

!!!!!! This review contains spoilers !!!!!!
Well one received one season of this show and it did not disappoint.
For SpikeTv this was a cut above their usual programming much better
than TNA IMPACT! and as intense as TUF.
Credit to the writers they didn't follow up and just repeated what the movies delivered with Wesley Snipes. I'am not an expert on the comic
but this was a different storyline of events.
Kirk Jones took over nicely over Snipes as the mean and tough Blade.
They follow certain characteristics such as Blade using his serum,
but instead of Whistler we received another guy doing Blade's gadgets.
The acting on this was decent, more than decent. Kirk did a great job.
The beautiful Jill Wagner also did a great job. As an actress, the character grew from being shy, angry, innocent and helpless to being
strong, scary and seductive.
Neil Jackson as the main villian Marcus Sciver was very believable and delivering his lines like a season pro.
You could feel the tension from episode to episode. The episodes had
action, plenty of gore, and even sensuality to go with it.
It's definitely what I would consider an adult oriented show and that's
a great thing because that's exactly what the show was hyped at:
Gritty, in your face and entertaining.
It's a shame it did not get a second season but ultimately this show delivered on all cylinders. After reading other posts and reviews, it's
clear that it did get a following despite what other critics said.
