Bleach is an action-anime series. The show revolves around Ichigo Kurosaki, a good-hearted 15 year old high-school student who carries the undesired ability to see spirits. Others in his family (two sisters and his father) carry this ability to some extent as well. One evening, he encounters Rukia Kuchiki; a Shinigami, or Death God. It is her job to usher lost spirits to Soul Society, and to also eliminate those which cross over from the Hollow World.
Rukia is on the trail of a massive hollow terrorizing the city for some unknown reason. This Hollow eventually makes it to Ichigo’s home and abducts his sister. In the fight with this Hollow, Rukia becomes injured and lends Ichigo her powers so that he might save his sister. Ichigo has now become a Shinigami. the series follows Ichigo's learning how to carry out his duties, and to increase his powers; for as he soon learns, there are both Shinigami and Hollows out there with staggering abilities, and he is going to have to make it through them all if he and his friends are to survive.
Ichigo must save Rukia because of the crime she committed transferring her powers to Ichigo. Can Ichigo save Rukia before it is to late. Can he master his zanpakotou, to beat the best of the Shinigami's.
