He met Ichigo, well he was in trouble, Ichigo wondered why he wouldn't fight. They became friends, making a promise that Chad won't ever have to fight, unless he is fighting for something for Ichigo. Ichigo said he'd do all the battling for him. Then they move to Karakura Town.
