Character Background

Aizen is the main bad guy Bleach. He was the former 5th division captain, but now he is the leader of the Arrancars. Aizen, at first was very calm, gentle almost like a professor, who seemed to care for anyone under him. But that was all just a show, and his really personality, as a backstabbing person who doesn't care anything about the people under him. He is also willing to manipulate people, to get what he wants. He also not bounded to any morals, either to further along his goal. He is also pretty much fearless, according to the Arrancar who serve under him.

Aizen's powers have not gone into great detail, but he is at least twice as strong as a normal captain, which was referenced when he created Wonderweiss Margera when using hogyoku. Aizen also made Grimmjow Jeagerjaques goes to his knee, without much effort. He also stated that he has reached his limits of all the Shinigami combat ways, which are hand to hand, kido, shunpo, and swordsmanship. He wants to overcome his limits, by becoming part hollow. He skills are also so great, that he is able to stop released zanpakutos with one finger, as in the case of Ichigo's.

Aizen's true plans is to overthrow the King of the Soul Society. But because his plans needs the oken translated to royal key. He needs to force it out of General Yamamoto, or wipe out the highest spiritual aware town or at least 100,000 people, and the city is Karakura Town.

Aizen's has also changed his appearance since becoming the main bad guy in Bleach, from a professor looking guy to more menacing evil guy. He also has on Arrancar clothes, instead of the normal shinigami clothes.

History

Not much is know of Aizen's past, due to it has not been covered yet. But it has been implied that he was in the 5th division for quite some time, and once was the Vice Captain of that division. Around that time he met Tosen Kaname and got him to his side. Aizen then became the captain and saw Ichimaru Gin, and found much potential in him and made him on his side. Even after Gin became a captain, Aizen considered him his Vice Captain. At that time Gin became his right hand man.

About 50 years before the main storyline, he found, potential of Momo Hinamori, Izuru Kira, and Renji Abarai, and took them all into his division. Renji proved to be troublesome and Renji was moved to the 11th division, and later the 6th division Vice Captain. Kira was later moved to under Gin's division as his Vice Captain and Momo became the 5th division Vice Captain. All of them was used to follow.

Character In the Story Line

When Aizen found out that Rukia went missing in the real world, he quickly murdered all the Center 46, the rule chamber of the Soul Society. And also sets it up, so that Rukia would be killed her rules she broke in the real world. Aizen then fakes his own death thanks to his zanpakuto's ability. He tries to fool his Vice Captain Momo, by making it seem like her childhood friend, Tōshirō Hitsugaya. While Hitsugaya thinks it is Gin who murdered Aizen. The reason, Aizen had this was so that the Gotei 13, would be screwed up and his plans would go on a little bit easier. But the 4th Division Captain Retsu Unohana, notices something wrong in Aizen's fake body, and goes to look at Center 46.

Aizen then reappears in front of a confused and happy Momo, who was lead to him by Gin. He stabs Momo after they hugged, because he knew she couldn't live without him and almost killed her. Then he fights Hitsugaya and wins with no effort. Unohana gets there and Aizen sort of tells her some of his plan, and leaves as Tosen brings Rukia and Renji back to the execution grounds. Where Aizen holds back on Renji and Ichigo Kurosaki, but basically almost kills 7th Division Captain Sajin Komamura with a high level of kido spell that wasn't at full power. He then takes Hogyoku out of Rukia and wants Gin to kill her. The rest of the captain and Vice Captain go there to stop him, but he leaves and gets away.

Aizen, then sends out his Espada to test Ichigo is a threat or not. Then he finds out he isn't and then sets his site on Orihime's ability of "event rejection". He sets up a plan and basically kidnaps her. He basically also get Orihime to be loyal to him, by show her Hogyoku. Also he tells his Espada when Ichigo, Rukia, Chad, Ishida, and Renji to come rescue not worry and stay in there room.

Skills

He is at his limits in every thing, Kido, Swordsmanship, hand to hand and Shunpo. Nothing else has been really said, to what point it he at. But from his battles he had, they are very high.

His zanpakuto Kyoka Suigetsu translate to Mirror Flower Water Moon. To release it he says kudakero which is translated to shatter. It has a shikai that is able to cast illusions. But its main power is to have control of all the senses a person has. He can make them, feel, see, hear, smell, and taste to what he wants them to see. It has one weakness thought, it must be seen to be able to take effect, so far Tosen is the only one who can see through him. Also it isn't perfect, because Unohana was able to find some thing a miss, well being completely in its hypnosis. But she was only able to figure it out, once she saw Aizen alive.

His bankai has yet to be seen.

History:Not much is known about Gin's prior history, except that he once saved 10th Division Lieutenant Rangiku Matsumoto from starvation when they were kids. They have been friends since then. Rangiku Matsumoto is one of the few people Gin seems to truly care about. It is also known that Gin served as the lieutenant of 5th Division Captain Sōsuke Aizen before becoming captain of the 3rd Division and that he became captain at the same time as Byakuya Kuchiki. During his time as captain he would often talk with Rukia Kuchiki, Byakuya's adopted sister, and that Rukia developed a fear of him.

Zanpakuto:Gin Ichimaru's zanpakutō is Shinsō (神鎗, lit. Divine Spear, Viz: Sacred Spear). It looks like a wakizashi (Japanese short sword) normally and the guard is shaped like an 'S'. Shinsō's shikai is triggered by the phrase "shoot to kill" (射殺せ, ikorose?); in the anime, this was slightly changed to ikorosu ("shoot to death"). In the English dub of the series, the phrase is inconsistent between uses, but mostly uses terms describing stabbing (slay, impale, pierce). Its first rendering in the Viz translation was "skewer that punk", a decidedly liberal translation. In Bleach: Shattered Blade, the phrase is "shoot him dead", the closest literal translation in the English version.

In its shikai, Shinsō's blade glows white and extends at high speed to impale Gin's opponents from a distance. The blade also carries tremendous force when extending without knocking Gin himself back, as seen when Gin pushes both Ichigo Kurosaki and the giant Jidanbō out from under the Seireitei gate, despite the latter being firmly braced under it. In addition, Gin can maintain the extension and swing the activated Shinsō in wide arcs, attacking multiple targets quickly and simultaneously.

History:Tōsen dedicated his life to following the path with the least bloodshed when a woman special to him died. She herself followed this path and Tōsen idolized her for it. Her dream was to become a shinigami and use her powers to maintain a peaceful world. Soon after she was accepted by the Academy, however, her husband killed her because she scolded him for killing a comrade over a petty argument. Tōsen took her zanpakutō upon her death and vowed that he would fight for justice without unnecessary bloodshed from then on. Shortly after, Tōsen joined the shinigami.

Tōsen met up with his now good friend, Sajin Komamura, while he was still in the shinigami academy. They took to each other quickly, because at that point Komamura was ashamed of his fox head and Tōsen could not see it. Komamura joined the shinigami and they became close friends and eventually captains in the Gotei 13, though the exact details aren't known. Before becoming a captain, it was known that Tōsen was in the 5th Division. When Aizen was still the lieutenant of the 5th Division, Tōsen was already on good terms with him.

Years later, Kenpachi Zaraki came into Seireitei and killed the former captain of the 11th Division. Ever since that day, Tōsen saw Kenpachi as a monster who served no purpose but to create chaos and would eventually break the tenuous peace of Soul Society.
